Samantha Correa joined Atlantis Academy Miami in 2018 as a teaching assistant. She works primarily with students in the Spectrum and secondary programs and sometimes lends support to the elementary classrooms. Samantha creates a productive and caring environment to ensure her students have a positive learning experience in which to gain knowledge and confidence. Samantha is currently pursuing a degree at West Coast University.
Vilma Estevez

Vilma Estevez has worked on several teams at Atlantis Academy Miami since joining the staff in 2002. She currently serves as a teaching assistant in our Spectrum program after spending time as an elementary teaching assistant and a member of the security team. Vilma has also been a vital part of our Summer Program since 2004. She is dedicated to ensuring our students succeed and reach their full potential.
Bianka Joiner

Bianka Joiner was born and raised in Miami. She graduated from Miami Sunset Senior High under the Academy of Education for Early Childhood before attending Miami-Dade College with an associate degree in arts. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in education. Her passion for working with children has grown during her time as part of the Atlantis Academy team. Being able to both teach and learn from the students inspires her to keep working towards her goals of becoming an educator.
Osvaldo Naranjo

Osvaldo Naranjo was born in Pinal Del Rio, Cuba, and has resided in the United States for 15 years. Originally trained as a nuclear medicine radiologist, he earned a degree in the field from the Instituto Nacional De Oncología y Radiobiología in Havana, Cuba. Osvaldo has been responsible for ensuring the Atlantis Academy Miami campus remains in beautiful, working order by keeping our facility operating in top shape throughout the year. As maintenance manager, Osvaldo loves the ability to meet our students and see them progress throughout the year, as well as make sure they are in a well-kept and safe environment.
Aranza Ormeno

Aranza Ormeno joined the Atlantis Academy Miami team in July 2019 as the school’s administrative assistant, bringing 10 years of managerial and administrative experience to the role. She has a passion for helping others and aims to make an impact on each student by being a caring and dedicated administrator. Though new to our staff, Aranza feels no other job has been more rewarding than working with the children at Atlantis Academy.

Coach Santos Padilla joined the Atlantis Academy Miami team in 2005 as a teaching aide in the Spectrum program before transitioning to assistant physical education teacher in the secondary school. He loves his job and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of Atlantis students each day by encouraging them to participate in physical activity and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Elizabeth Padron

Elizabeth Padron joined the staff at Atlantis Academy Miami in 2015 as the school’s receptionist. She moved into the role of bookkeeper two years later and successfully manages our student accounts and our school’s finances. Elizabeth’s position allows her to develop meaningful relationships with our families and students, and she says she is grateful to be a part of the Atlantis family.

Yuney Pochet joined the Atlantis Academy Miami team in 2016 as a teaching assistant in our Spectrum classrooms. She also works with our elementary, upper-level and Spectrum students in the afternoons during our after-care program.
